FIELD: steelmaking. SUBSTANCE: low-carbon alloyed steel for cold-drawn weld wire operated at low temperatures, containing carbon, silicon, manganese, and nickel, is supplemented by titanium so that sum of weight percents of nickel and manganese lies within the limits 3.0 and 3.3, content of copper does not exceed 0.15%, and sum of weight percents of sulfur and phosphorus does not exceed 0.013%. Steel is finally composed of, wt %: carbon 0.04-0.06, silicon up to 0.20, manganese 1.1-1.5, chromium up to 0.10, nickel 1.7-1.9, molybdenum up to 0.08, copper up to 0.15, sulfur up to 0.006, phosphorus 0.008, titanium 0.05-0.12, aluminum up to 0.04, vanadium up to 0.03, antimony up to 0.005, nitrogen up to 0.008, oxygen up to 0.004, and iron - the balance. EFFECT: achieved yield point of welded joints 500-570 Newton per square cm and increased impact strength of welded joints made by combining wire and different fluxes. 1 tbl
