FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: compound is used for prevention of dust-pollution of environmental medium at tailing dumps and also for protecting surrounding agricultural areas from fouling with dust. Compound includes following components: 10-15% of adipic alkali plasticizer (waste from production of caprollactam, 15-20% of Callovian powder-like clay which is by-product recovered together with iron ore, and service water. Concentration of produced solution is changed from 3 to 4 l/sq.m of treated surface. Application of aforesaid compound allows for producing high-strength and durable coatings on dusting surfaces.
