FIELD: military equipment, in particular, firing of projectiles with an electric luminous radiator. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in firing of a projectile and determination of its presence on the trajectory by means of an electric luminous radiator; at an illuminance of the fire track below the reference level the electric power applied to the electric luminous radiator is reduced. Change-over of the electric power applied to the electric luminous radiator may be accomplished after the projectile is installed on the launcher. In the firing complex, containing the round with the projectile carrying the electric luminous radiator, the power supply circuit of the electric luminous radiator has an electric luminous radiator has an electric power regulator with a control unit. The electric power regulator in the power supply circuit of the electric luminous radiator of the projectile may be made in the form of a branching of one of the feeding electric wires of the electric luminous radiator into two parallel circuits. One of the parallel branching circuits has a resistor, and the other - a switch interacting with the control unit of the power regulator.
