FIELD: military equipment, guided missile firing. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in missile shooting and its guidance on target with luminous radiation tracking; with the increase of the distance between the control console and missile, the power of luminous radiation perceived at the control console is cyclically varied with a variable maximum-to-minimum radiation ratio in a cycle. The guided missile uses a backward-directed luminous electrical radiator furnished with a programmer of cyclic variation of luminous radiation power. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy. 7 cl, 5 dwg
