FIELD: missile armament. SUBSTANCE: method of firing of missile with an engine nozzle device and member of optical communication located on the rear end face consists in missile launching, determination of the moment of propulsion burn-out and establishment of optical communication between the control panel and missile after propulsion burn-out. The missile complex for realization of the method has a launcher, control panel and guided missile with members of optical communication between them. The optical communication and missile engine nozzle members are located on the missile rear end face. One of the members of complex optical communication is furnished with an ignition delay device engageable with the propulsion burn-out transducer. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of optical communication between the control panel and missile with employment of simple design approaches. 5 cl, 4 dwg
