FIELD: agriculture, in particular, manufacture of transportable lawn blocks, which may be used in landscape architecture and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming briquettes from composition containing, wt.%: sod, 60-98; peat ground to finely dispersed state, 2-40. Ameliorants-briquettes produced from mentioned composition possess increased moisture capacity, high water saturation rate, increased disease and weed resistance. Such briquettes may be used for quick construction of lawns, for strengthening highway and railway slopes, sportive grounds, as well as for making high-fertility plots for growing plants. EFFECT: simplified manufacture process, wider range of usages, and improved nutritive quality of peat-sod medium. 15 cl
