FIELD: machine engineering, namely welding equipment for oxygen cutting. SUBSTANCE: cutter includes body with handle and regulation valves for feeding combustible gas, heating and cutting oxygen and head. Inlets of head ducts for feeding combustible gas, heating and cutting oxygen are joined with respective ducts of body, their outlets are joined through mixer mounted in head with annular duct. In mixer inlet ducts for feeding combustible gas are inclined relative to axis of duct for feeding cutting oxygen; inlet openings of ducts have the same areas and they are arranged concentrically relative to axis of duct for feeding cutting oxygen. When acetylene is used as combustible gas inclination angle of inlet ducts for feeding combustible gas is equal to 34 deg.30'- 35 deg.30'; when propane is used as combustible gas angle is equal to 34-36 deg. Annular duct of mixer is formed by coaxially arranged outer and inner mouthpieces. Inner mouthpiece has axial duct for feeding cutting oxygen with successively joined cylinder portion and cone portion; the last has large cone diameter at outlet. Lower cylindrical portion of inner mouthpiece has rectangular outlet ducts for feeding combustible mixture. Relation of total area of outlet ducts to maximum cross section area of outlet cone portion of duct for feeding cutting oxygen consists 1:(0.23-9.02). Such cutter allows to cut metallic parts with thickness up to 250 mm at high speed. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of cutting thick metallic parts, long useful life of cutter. 8 cl, 2 dwg
