FIELD: manufacture of units of electrical and radio equipment. SUBSTANCE: clamping jaws mounted for reciprocation are coupled to each other kinematically through rack-and-gear drive. Two drive racks which ends carry jaws are engaged with toothed wheel. Cylindrical rollers are positioned in pairs from both sides of racks. Rollers are mounted in groups, four rollers on each axle. Each rack has four guides for each group of rollers. Two guides of racks for each group of rollers are engaged with a pair of rollers nearest to racks. Two remaining guides are engaged with other pair of rollers and positioned diametrically opposite to the first pair of guides. Guides engaged with rollers the nearest to racks are provided with flange contacting the sides of rollers. As a result, friction of racks in guides of body is reduced, and parts are gripped with permissible force of power cylinder. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 10 dwg
