SAW BLADE GUIDE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: saw blade guide has bracket carrying antifriction members engageable with opposite surfaces of saw blade and pressed to it by pressing means. Bracket is mounted for longitudinal motion and fixation in selected position on guide strip. Bracket is made with parallel arms whose upper ends are connected by connector with inclined flat coming from connector upper surface and resting on strip inclined surface. Installed on opposite end of connector is pressing web having inclined part resting on strip other surface and conjugating inclined part. Vertical part is adjacent to end face and installed on stud screwed into end face. Installed on stud with threaded hole is handle for pressing the web to connector and fixation of bracket strip. Saw blade guide allows regulation of inclination of saw blade relative to pulleys to prevent its coming off the pulleys during operation, regulation of position of guide depending on diameter of sawn log, provision of releasing of pulleys from forces arising in sawing to alleviate operation of saw blade and to prolong service life of pulleys.
