FIELD: railway transport; auxiliary equipment. SUBSTANCE: rail lubricator has frame with lowering wheels provided with nozzles, pneumatic cylinders for putting wheels onto rails, tank for lubricant, pump for delivering lubricant from tank to nozzles, and control device. Rail lubricator is furnished with device to provide constant holding of wheel with nozzle in pressed-to-rail position. This device is made in form of multiple-member mechanism consisting of levers connected to form two trapeziums resting through hinge joints into rail lubricator frame. EFFECT: provision of rail lubricator mounted on railway vehicle with guaranteed orientation of nozzle relative to side edge of rail head to be lubricated. 4 dwg
