FIELD: thermal engineering for industrial and utility heat and hot-water supply. SUBSTANCE: facility is used in self-contained decentralized system enabling its installation within building being heated or installation of group of facilities for heating various entities and ensuring automatic control of facility or facilities for its (their) running unattended. Desired temperature of heat-carrying agent at facility outlet is maintained according to predetermined program depending on actual ambient temperature, difference between actual temperatures of heat-carrying agent at inlet and outlet of facility, and relation between outlet and actual temperatures of facility by automatically turning on or off required number of modular facility burners or number of heating modules proper. Facility has one or more heating modules depending on desired heat power and control module both made in the form of metal cabinets. Heating module is built up of heating assemblies each having burner, firebox and heat-transfer apparatus, cold and hot water headers, gas lines, smoke box with smoke nozzles, evaporation and shut-off elements. Control module has pump unit of two circulating pumps, instruments for visual control of heat-transfer agent and gas variables, and automatic control unit for entire facility mounted in upper part of module.
