FIELD: gas water heaters.
SUBSTANCE: method and device use the discrete mechanism of control of flow rate of gas supplied to the main burner downstream of the safety valve that has additional inlet. The other inlet is connected with the gate of the valve whose reverse stroke is provided by the spring of the discrete mechanism. The first inlet can be connected with the thermostat of overheating of the heat agent. The second independent inlet can be connected with the thermostat of the room air.
EFFECT: reduced gas consumption and enhanced reliability.
