FIELD: means of initiation, applicable in electric detonators, pyrotechnical relays, initiation devices based on shock-wave tubes at blasting. SUBSTANCE: primer detonator has a hollow body with a bottom that accommodates the main and initiating charges, retarding component in a shell and an additional shell with holes on the ends. The retarding component represents a shell with holes on the ends, accommodating two ignition charges separated by a partition with a hole rigidly fixed in the shell, and a retarding charge. The hole in the partition is smaller than that in the shell of the retarding component on the side of its exposed part. The additional shell is rigidly fixed in the hollow body in contact with the end of the retarding component shell. The ignition charges separated by the partition may consists both of one compound and of various compoundings.
