FIELD: instruments equipped with devices for illumination of control members, in particular, for car heating unit. SUBSTANCE: control unit has casing incorporating light-permeable insert and light source, which are covered with front panel, and control arms positioned on front panel. Light-permeable insert is composed of two joined circular members. Light source is disposed at circular members junction point, within opening. Circular members are positioned concentrically with respect to angle of rotation of related control arm and extend beyond control arms, as a rule, toward symbols and designations on front panel. Each control arm is provided with movable light guide which is made in the form of plate positioned perpendicular to insert plane and engageable with light output surface of insert. EFFECT: increased illuminating efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 10 cl, 2 dwg
