FIELD: measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has reservoir, dielectric plate manufactured from nonmagnetic material and disposed in vertical position within reservoir. Magnetically sensitive microcircuits are positioned at fixed pitch L on dielectric plate and connected to data processing and indicating units. Dielectric plate is placed into liquid-impermeable and magnetic field permeable enclosure. Apparatus is further provided with nonmagnetic float with permanent magnets fixed at upper and lower ends of float. Sensitive elements of magnetic circuits are exposed to the action of permanent magnets. Effective width of coverage of one permanent magnet is 1.25L, of other permanent magnet - 0.75L, with space between zones of coverage of mentioned magnets being 1.5L.
