FIELD: physics. SUBSTANCE: method is recommended for nondestructive test of thermophysical characteristics of materials with use of point heat source. Point pulse heat source is placed on heat-insulated surface of tested material and two temperature-sensitive elements are positioned at corresponding distances from heat source. Action of sequence of heat pulses with recurrence period τ from point heat source is used to determine thermophysical characteristics of material. Excessive temperatures whose values are registered are achieved in this case. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of thermophysical characteristics of materials and reduced energy consumption. 2 dwg
