FIELD: study of materials. SUBSTANCE: two point pulse sources of heat of same power are put on heat-insulated surface of tested material. Temperature-sensitive element is placed on line of location of sources of heat. Thermophysical characteristics of material are determined by action with train of heat pulses with repetition period τ from first point source of heat, then second point source of heat starts to function in step with first source. Excessive temperatures T1 and T2 are achieved. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of thermophysical characteristics of materials, decreased energy consumption. 2 dwg
