METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CROWN DENTURE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves casting anchor crowns and intermediate part from a metal alloy. Before casting prosthesis parts, intermediate part wax blank is separated from anchor crown blanks and wax lugs blanks are introduced into the free ends of the anchor crown blanks and openings coaxial with lug openings are produced in the adjacent walls of the intermediate part. Then ear blanks are introduced into lug blanks and the ear blanks are connected to the lug blanks with temporary axles. The axles being brought through the openings in the walls, free ends of the ears are coupled with the wax models of the anchor crowns and attached to them by melting. Then the temporary axles are removed and wax blanks are taken off from the plaster model for casting the prosthesis parts. After being cast, the finished prosthesis parts are joined with connection pins. EFFECT: facilitated change of some parts of the prosthesis without removing the other parts; improved process for fitting the ready prosthesis on the anchor teeth. 7 cl, 6 dwg
