FIELD: equipment for plastic metal working, namely in hardware industry, possibly apparatuses for descaling rods. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame in which rotor is mounted in bearing assemblies. Rotor is in the form of shaft with central opening and with disc on end portion. Gear boxes are jointly secured to disc. Output shafts of gear boxes with needle milling cutters may roll around input shafts by means of screw-down mechanisms. Satellite-pinions of input shafts are in constant engagement with pinions of output shafts and sun gear with internal tooth stationary mounted in frame. Centering guide is arranged in disc of rotor. Diameter of guide is more than that of rod by 0.2-0.3 mm. EFFECT: simplified mechanism for pressing needle cutters to rod blank, lowered size and mass of gear box whose output shaft supports disc needle cutter and therefore increased rotation speed of rotor, reduced dimension of the whole apparatus due to use of rotor with shaft having end disc and single electric motor, possibility of mounting drawing benches in line. 4 cl, 6 dwg
