FIELD: aeronautical engineering; carriage of cargoes by helicopter external stores. SUBSTANCE: device has suspension systems and brace strut connected with them; platform provided with mechanism for securing the cargo is attached to brace strut in its center portion. Mechanism for securing the cargo includes cross-member mounted on platform for rotation around vertical axis and its drive. Cross-member may be made in form of double-arm beam or in form of ring. Lines with cargo gripping devices (electric locks, hooks, etc. ) are secured to edges of cross-member. Cross-member may be provided with electromechanical drive, rope drive, etc. Control of drive is effected from cabin of one or several helicopters. Proposed device provides for turning the cargo in horizontal plane (in azimuth) in placing it by helicopters. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of positioning the cargoes; reduced flying time. 5 cl, 4 dwg
