FIELD: construction of objects by means of flying vehicles; mounting objects on design elevations by means of helicopter when horizontal sizes of cargo exceed sizes of base on which it is to be mounted hampering with observation of the joint area by crew, for example, reservoir of water towers, temple cupolas, antennae, etc. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in mounting remote reference point with colored marks near design elevations before mounting. Cargo is secured to flying vehicle and is carried to area of mounting; then, preliminary aligning of cargo is effected followed by accurate aligning on design elevations making use of remote reference point with colored marks. Colored marks have definite sizes depending on conditions of visibility of boundaries. In the course of accurate aligning of cargo relative to construction line, position of helicopter is changed in such way that only ends of all reference points are seen for observer, after which helicopter descends so that amount of visible ends is equal for all reference points in order to avoid deflection from construction line. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of aligning cargo relative to construction line; reduction of flying time. 3 cl, 3 dwg
