FIELD: power line construction, specifically, installation of wire with use of two helicopters. SUBSTANCE: proposed process consists in preparation of wire for installation, in its laying on ground with subsequent attachment of one end of wire to external suspension of each helicopter taking part in operation. Climbing helicopters hoist ends of wire till the whole length of it is lifted from ground, helicopters draw together to safe distance, transport wire to place of installation. Then helicopters lower and fly in opposite directions from center to anchor supports gradually laying both branches of half-loop on ground till both ends of wire are brought to cables laid on ground of pulling mechanisms placed near supports beforehand.
