FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of preparing blended explosives and, more particularly, to oxidant for simple or water- containing explosives to be applied in mining and construction areas. Alkali and/or alkali-earth metal aluminosilicates (nepheline, leucite, anorthite, feldspar) are treated with nitric acid to form aluminum nitrate and free nitric acid, which are brought into interaction with ammonia to give aluminum hydroxide and solution containing ammonium, potassium, sodium, and calcium nitrates. 75-95% of aluminum hydroxide is separated and the rest of it is used as modification additive for explosive oxidant. Achieved result consists in obtaining high-efficiency complex oxidant fit to prepare miscellaneous simple and water-containing explosives. Modifying oxidant with aluminum hydroxide confers oil- retaining and thickening capacity, which enables preparing water- resistant explosives with stable blast characteristics. Inexpensiveness of starting material, completeness of processing thereof, and needlessness of complete evaporation of solution when water-containing explosives are prepared assure considerable reduction in cost of oxidant. Engineering economy study has shown that it is by 20 to 40% lower as compared to cost of existing oxidants. EFFECT: increased economical efficiency of process. 6 cl, 1 tbl, 13 ex
