FIELD: aircraft and rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in temperature control systems. Proposed axial-flow fan contains housing, fitted in cup with n (n=3, 4. etc.) radial projections on bottom of which electric motor with impeller on its shaft is secured, and also cowl installed by means of threaded bevel joint in cup at side opposite to impeller. Spherical outer surface of projections is in contact with spherical surface of housing, and n meridional cuts are made in cylindrical wall of cup.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved manufacturability.
