FIELD: devices for producing acoustic vibrations in flowing liquid medium. SUBSTANCE: apparatus may be used for performance and intensification of various physico-chemical, hydrodynamic and heat-mass-transfer processes in liquid-liquid and solid-liquid systems. The rotary apparatus has body with medium inlets and outlets, concentrically installed rotor and stator with channels in side walls in the form of alternating contractions and expansions, sounding chamber and drive. Expansions of stator channels are made in the form of circular recesses, contractions are displaced relative to one another. In this case, radial axis of each contraction next in radial direction, is displaced relative to preceding one through angle of α = π/Zc, where Zc is number of stator channels. Length of its contraction equal length of circular recess in radial direction. Apparatus provides abrupt change of direction of medium flow, excludes formation of dead zones and promotes intensive displacement of flows in stator channels.
