FIELD: stone-working industry. SUBSTANCE: two working and transfer conveyers are interlocked, as a result of which all cars move synchronously over closed circle without malfunctions caused by cutting speed variation. After grinding and polishing, car with blank moves to shifting mechanism. Then car with blank arrives at working conveyer with sawing equipment through transfer conveyer. At the end of operating zone of working conveyer plate cut off completely and calibrated in width is delivered through tilter to format-cutting installation where it is cut lengthwise into articles of preset length by respective equipment. Articles of preset length are then transferred to drive roller conveyer of auxiliary conveyer for finishing working. Calibration of articles in width, chamfering, cleaning and drying of finished articles are performed on auxiliary conveyer in succession. Then finished articles get are get on discharge roller conveyer from which they are removed manually. After plate is cut off, car with blank is delivered transfer conveyer to working conveyer for working of blank end face. When blank on one of cars is used completely car moves to transfer conveyer of line storage section. In this case, standby car located there with blank placed in it beforehand starts operating, thus preventing continuous nature of production process. Production line is controlled by single control member (computer). Computer realizes checking of diamond tool state and checks quality and quantity of production. Production line may be readjusted promptly to other sizes of articles and to different types pf stone. EFFECT: enhanced versatility and efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
