FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; transfer of asteroid to orbit safe Earth. SUBSTANCE: rocket has liquid- propellant rocket engines, stabilizer and instrument section with control system. Rocket consists of three parts: front and rear parts and burnable head fairing. Rear part contains above-mentioned engines. Front part is used for reverse braking at approaching the asteroid. It has bell mouth provided with holes over circumference for escape of gases of rocket engines. Burnable head fairing closes these holes of bell mouth. Rocket engines of front part have lesser thrust power; these engines are used for exhaust of gases only during period of change of asteroid orbit. EFFECT: repulsion of asteroid from rocket and transfer of it to orbit safe for Earth. 2 dwg
