FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device may be used in mining of mineral deposits by underground methods. The ventilation bulkhead includes wall located across mine working from interconnected building blocks located on heap of muck or stowage material. Each block is made in the form of thin-walled vessel open from top and filled with muck or stowage material. Side walls of thin-walled vessel are semiring and their external surface is rough. External sizes of lower part of thin-walled vessel are smaller than respective internal sizes of its upper part. Method of bulkhead construction includes installation of building blocks in rows and on one another. Construction of each new row is started for installation of adjacent to one another thin-walled vessels open from top. Extreme thin-walled vessels are cut to profile of working adjacent wall, and vessels are filled through their open part with muck or stowage material. Slot under working roof is filled with thin-walled vessel cut to profile of adjacent working without filling them with muck. EFFECT: reduced labor input in construction of ventilation bulkhead without impairing its air permeability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
