FIELD: instruments, in particular, for measuring parameters of vibration measuring instruments. SUBSTANCE: method involves excitation of oscillations by connection of acceleration meter to direct voltage source with subsequent disconnection and short-term short-circuiting terminals of acceleration meter. Device has excitation voltage source, switch and terminals for connection of acceleration meter and detector, control signal generator, first and second open gates, and delay gate. Excitation source is designed as direct voltage source, which is connected to parallel circuit of first gate, terminal for connection of acceleration meter, and serial circuit of second gate and terminal for connection of detector, when switch is in first position. Direct voltage source is connected to control signal generator, which is connected to control input of first gate and, through delay gate, to control input of second gate, when switch is in second position. EFFECT: facilitated electric excitation of piezoelectric acceleration meter according to frequency of setting resonance, increased precision of detection of oscillations. 2 cl, 3 dwg
