SUBSTANCE: frame of card reading device has electronic circuit, which is connected on the one side, to at least some brush contact members and is used for connection, and, on the other side, to electronic circuit of card reading device. Electronic circuit which is mounted in connection unit has units which are designed for testing card insertion into card reader and its removal from reader. Said reading frame has additional brush contact, which name is disconnection detection contact and which is shifter with respect to primary brush center s in direction of card insertion into reader. It is designed for making electric contact to one conducting track of card with embedded chip, which either gets primary contact or does not get it.
