FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment reading cards with built-in microcircuits. Plug for device reading cards with built- in microcircuit has case carrying elements of brush contact meant for electric connection with current-conducting sections of microcircuit of card after card is inserted into device reading cards. In this case at least part of elements of brush contact is connected to electron circuit of plug which includes means of control over operations of insertion and withdrawal of card from device reading cards and electron circuit of plug is connected to electron circuit of device reading card. EFFECT: reduced manufacturing cost and increased operational reliability. 19 cl, 6 dwg
