FIELD: ac electrical machines. SUBSTANCE: method involves spatial displacement of magnetic fluxes and variation of their magnitude and phase shift. Spatial displacement of magnetic fluxes is effected by shifting coils of adjacent circuits relative to each other in (0.5 - 0.3) x l range, where l is active length of coils. Phase shift and magnitude of magnetic fluxes are varied by changing inherent and induced resistances and capacitive reactance inserted in circuits provided adjacent magnetically coupled circuits are resonance-tuned and electrically isolated. Phase shift ϕ of adjacent magnetic fluxes is varied within the range of 0 < ϕ ≤ 360/(N•2), where N 2 is number of phases; their magnitude may be either equal or different. EFFECT: simplified design of machine due to dispensing with complex power supplies and additional phase shifters. 1 dwg
