FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: during advancement of separating apparatus along row of crops, fruits are gripped by pickup drum, separated by detachable fingers from stems and fed by conveyors to crushing drum. Fruits are crushed by drum ribs and corrugated plates. Crushed fruits are fed to separating drum, where large fraction (crust) is separated. Remaining mass is fed through chute into preliminary rubbing unit where major part of pulp is separated. Remaining mass is supplied to scraper elevator with grid bottom, and is further delivered into rubbing device with sectional drum. Pulp is separated in drum first section and removed by vacuum device. Seeds are separated in drum second section and delivered into accumulating hopper. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for obtaining product of standardized quality. 2 cl, 8 dwg
