FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: extractor of seeds from the watermelon fruit, comprising a hopper, a device for destruction of fruit located in it, a device for dividing the fruit to juice, pulp and seeds, the juice collector, according to the invention the device for dividing the fruit is made in the form of a cutting drum provided with the longitudinal and transverse blades placed on the hollow drum. For implementing the method the height of the blades should be equal to the thickness of the cortex of fruit which is 10.5-12.6 mm depending on the breed, under the cutting drum a grating concave is mounted, arranged in a spiral of Archimedes, with a decrease in the gap between the drum and the concave from the input part to the output, the diameter of the cutting drum is 800-900 mm, the number of the longitudinal blades is 10-12, the number of the transverse blades is 5-7, the gap between the cutting drum and the concave, adjustable in the front part, is equal to the average diameter of the fruit of 195-208 mm, under the concave a blade screw conveyor of the cortex separation is mounted, on the outer edge of the blades the brushes are fixed, which bristles have rigidity G=0.015-0.020 cN/mm2, the blade screw conveyor is located in the tray, which bottom is made grating with a through mesh size equal to the maximum size of seed in length of 13.0-18.0 mm, under the blade screw conveyor of the cortex separation the brush screw conveyor of seed separating is mounted, the bottom of the tray of which is made grating with the mesh size smaller than the seed size of 1.5-2.5 mm in thickness, the rigidity of the bristles of the conveyor of seed separating G=0.012-0.015 cN/mm2, under the conveyor of seed separating the juice collector is mounted, at the output of the screw conveyors of the cortex separation and seed separating the transporters are provided for unloading the cortex and seeds, the drive of the cutting drum is made by an electric motor through the V-belt drive, the screw conveyors and conveyor of unloading - from the electric motor through the chain transmissions.
EFFECT: prevention of seed damaging.
