FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: watermelon peel is used as animal feed. Plant contains a bunker, a device for breaking fruits and a device for extracting seeds from crushed heap, a container for collecting juice and pulp, and conveyors for collecting and removing seeds and a crust. Installation is equipped with a washing tub for fruits. Water-jet devices are mounted in the side wall of the bath. In the bath at the inclined side wall, a tray conveyor is installed, coupled with the bunker and the device for the destruction of the fruit. Device for the destruction of the fruit is made in the form of two counter-rotating single-cavity hyperboloids of revolution. Forming hyperbolas are knife-shaped for cutting fruit in the transverse direction. For cutting fruits in the longitudinal direction, the hyperboloid has knives in the form of discs, the distance between which is made depending on the required sizes of fruit pieces. In order to avoid the transfer of fruits, the rear hyperboloid is located higher than the front one. Under the device for the destruction of fruits mounted auger separating the crust from the pulp and seeds, which has a trough-shaped casing, the bottom and side walls of which are made of lattice. Exception of injured seeds is provided by an elastic coating of the bottom and walls of the sieves. To separate the seeds and pulp from the crust, the turns of the auger have cleaning blades. Lattice bottom and walls of the crust separation screw are associated with the pitched planes with the internal cavity of the auger separating the seeds from the juice and pulp. Bottom and side walls of the inner cavity of the auger of the seed compartment are made of lattice, the openings of which are designed for the passage of juice and pulp with the prevention of the passage of seeds. Internal cavity of the auger of the seed compartment is connected by a pitched plane with a container for collecting juice, equipped with a centrifugal pumping unit for supplying juice for processing. Suction pipe of the pumping unit is equipped with a filter. Output part of the crust separation screw is coupled with the conveyor of shipment of the crust. Output part of the auger of the seed compartment is associated with a seed shipping conveyor.

EFFECT: invention can be used in installations for the production of juice, pulp, and candied fruits.
