METHOD FOR SETTING PROSTHETIC APPLIANCES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying implants as anchor members of artificial denture. After extracting a tooth and antiseptic treatment of the cavity being done, implant bed is formed using the cavity from the removed tooth and preparing in appropriate way the adjacent toothless area of the alveolar process. The produced bed is filled with allotransplant of crushed demineralized brepho-osteomatrix. Intraosseous part of the implant provided with temporary plug is set in the so prepared bed. The alveolar process is covered with allotransplant of the lyophilized dura mater. Mucous layer in the operation zone is tightly sutured with duplicature made from mucoperiosteal flap being created. The temporary plug is changed for permanent bearing head in 3-4 months after installing the implant through a pierce in the mucous layer. The prosthesis is set using implant head anchor member for the dental prosthesis. EFFECT: accelerated treatment; improved survival period of implant and functional results.
