FIELD: cleaning liquid (water) under domestic conditions. SUBSTANCE: liquid to be cleaned is conveyed from delivery pipeline to filter by turning on dirty- liquid shutoff valve. Hydraulic pressure is built up across filter inlet, liquid is passed through the latter, and clean liquid is discharged through special pipeline. The latter is provided with additional dirty-liquid shutoff valve. During initial filtering cycle, clean-liquid valve is the first to be opened and then dirty-liquid shutoff valve is turned on. At the end of cycle, dirty- liquid shutoff valve is the first to close and then clean-liquid shutoff valve is turned off. Filtering-device cock has body, liquid delivery and discharge pipes, dirty-liquid shutoff valve, actuator of the latter, clean-liquid delivery and discharge pipes, and clean liquid shutoff valve. Dirty- liquid shutoff valve actuator is coupled with clean-liquid shutoff valve for its advanced forced opening when dirty-liquid shutoff valve is turned on in the beginning of filtering cycle followed by forced closing of clean-liquid valve by the moment of closing dirty-liquid valve at the end of filtering cycle. Dirty-liquid shutoff valve is made in the form of ball incorporating appropriate saddle and in the form of two ceramic disks with holes. Device has filter, dirty-liquid delivery pipeline running to filter, clean-liquid discharge pipeline , and cock with shutoff valve designed in compliance with Clause 5-15.
