DEVICE FOR SUPPLY OF FLUID MEDIUM Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: designs of devices for supply of fluid media used in household conditions, mainly, for connection to filters for afterpurification of drinkable water at country garden plots, in service agencies for supply of liquid or gaseous media. SUBSTANCE: device has a body with central channel, means located inside the body for control of fluid medium, inlet pipe and discharge member. The latter is made for its turning and axial motion. The device additionally has a means for limiting the axial motion of discharge member relative to the body. The body central channel is made in the form of a blind hole. The means for control of fluid medium flow has at least three grooves made in the body central channel. Sealing members are located in upper and lower grooves for engagement of external surface of the discharge member. The third groove is communicated with inlet pipe by means of the additional channel made in the body. The discharge member is located directly in the body central channel. Its lower end shape ensures smooth control of flow rate of fluid medium in interaction with a sealing member installed in the body lower groove. EFFECT: simplified design of device with higher reliability, and improved operation characteristics; extended range of device application. 5 cl, 7 dwg
