FIELD: equipment for grinding solid materials, such as rocks. SUBSTANCE: roll grinder has immovable housing, armored grid, and roll-type working tool with cutting tools arranged in helical line. Basic material charging hole is positioned above working tool at side adjacent to working tool drive. Discharge hole for removal of required product is extending along working tool. Discharge hole for removal of by-products is positioned in side wall of grinder housing at opposite side with respect to basic material charging hole. Grinder housing side walls are made in the form of grids. Such construction prevents basic material from overgrinding.
