FIELD: welding technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to restoration of equipment operated under heavy duty conditions, in particular to rolls of machines for continuous molding of blanks. Welding wire contains, wt %: carbon 0.15-0.20, chromium 16.0- 18.0, silicon 0.5-0.8, manganese 0.5-0.8, molybdenum 0.80-1.00, and iron - the balance, carbon to chromium and molybdenum wt ratios being, respectively, 1:(90-107) and 1:(4.7-5.5). EFFECT: increased strength of deposited metal at high temperatures, increased hardness to 47-50 HRC level and resistance to cracking. 2 tbl
