FIELD: welding and surfacing articles of high carbon steels operating at large sign-variable loads, namely restoration of assemblies and parts of railway road moving stock.
SUBSTANCE: welding wire composition contains, mass %: carbon, 0.04 - 0.10;silicon, 0.2 -0.8; manganese, 0.9 - 1.6; vanadium, o.1 -0.6; calcium, 0.0012 - 0.002; copper, no more than 0.25; chrome, no more than 0.25; molybdenum, no more than 0.08; sulfur, no more than 0.025; phosphorus, no more than 0.030; iron, the balance. Relation of carbon content to summed content of molybdenum and vanadium is to be 0.15 - 0.22. Relation of sulfur content to summed content of calcium and manganese is to be in range 0.016 - 0.028.
EFFECT: combination of high optimal values of strength, ductility and resistance of surfaced metal against brittlement.
