FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly preparation of magnesium sulfate monohydride. SUBSTANCE: method comprises dehydration of magnesium sulfate heptahydrate by treating it in vacuum drier at constant rarefaction within 0.18-0.20 atm gauge at temperature from 93 to 98 C followed by cooling and sifting of the product. EFFECT: improved quality of the product with less energy consumption.
