FIELD: refractories industry, more particularly manufacture of refractory materials intended for service under conditions of thermal, chemical and thermochemical loads. SUBSTANCE: compound for carbonized refractory materials is prepared with mutually penetrating refractory and carbon skeletons having high antioxidizing and thermomechanical properties. This is achieved due to organized distribution and better use of functional properties of ingredients in multicomponent compound by addition of 60- 95 wt % of refractory filler, 5-40 wt % of carbonized granules and 2-8 wt % per 100 % solid phase of liquid carbaneceous plasticizer. Carbonized granules comprise, wt %: antioxidant, 0.1-30; nonthermoplastic carbon- containing ingredient, 20-60 and coal, petroleum or synthetic bond, 17-50.
