FIELD: technology of producing finely dispersed commercial carbon-carbon blank used in various industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes pyrolysis of carbon-containing raw material, hardening of carbon black and gas mixture using its cooled part as hardening agent and separation of finished product. Carbon black and gas mixture is taken for hardening at hardening zone outlet and is fed in opposite flow at angle relative to main flow through holes in lateral surfaces of domes which are mounted in section of hardening zone. Besides that, carbon black and gas mixture intended for hardening is fed at angle of ±45o relative to perpendicular constructed to vector of main rate; mixture is fed at rate of 50 to 150 m/s; domes are mounted in hardening zone section at distance between their lateral surfaces found from relationship L = V•τ.
