SUBSTANCE: material is composed of, wt parts: polyvinyl alcohol 100, binding agent 150-170, mineral acid 2-70, foaming agent 3-5, and, if necessary, sodium chloride up to 45. Material is well moistened and efficiently absorbs body fluids. When moistened, material increases volumetrically, acquires softness and plasticity, which allows atraumatic removal dressing from wound surfaces, including those in cavities. Initial shape of dressings enable topical removal of body fluids in case of vascular hemorrhage and also painless introduction of turundas and swabs into cavities. Material is intended for use when drying operation, wound, or burnt surfaces under conditions when dressings have to meet pileless requirement, in particular in ophthalmology, general microsurgery, cardiovascular and maxillofacial surgeries, otolaryngology, etc. EFFECT: eliminated pile release and thereby assured conditions for preventing infection of wounds. 7 cl, 1 tbl
