FIELD: metalworking. SUBSTANCE: method consists in heat treatment of foil in vacuum using heating provided by glow discharge incited between casing of vacuum chamber and surface of foil at oxygen or hydrogen pressure in vacuum chamber 10-1-10-3 mm Hg, negative potential from high-voltage source being led to the foil. EFFECT: increased productivity and improved quality of foil due to chemical reactions excited on the surface of foil bombarded by oxygen and hydrogen ions. 6 dwg
