FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines using hydrogen as additional fuel. SUBSTANCE: engine has at least one cylinder with piston and cylinder head forming combustion chamber. Spark plug installed in combustion chamber, and fuel feed system delivering fuel into combustion chamber, control unit, ignition system and load and crankshaft speed transmitters coupled with control unit and hydrogen source and nozzle connected with source. Nozzle installed in combustion chamber has through axial and side channels in its body to deliver hydrogen. Spring with plate and spring-loaded plunger provided with side groove are installed in axial channel. Plunger has side groove with fitted-in sealing ring, and channel through which side groove communicates with combustion chamber. Side groove is made for alignment with side channel for feeding hydrogen. Nozzle accommodates reversible motor with splined output shaft coupled with control unit. Motion thread is made in axial channel of nozzle body and over perimeter of spring plate. Plate provided with axial splined hole is installed for forming splined connection with motor shaft and for displacement along thread in axial channel of nozzle body. EFFECT: facilitated ignition of lean mixture enriched by hydrogen near spark plug. 3 dwg
