FIELD: flame combustion technology in thermal power engineering. SUBSTANCE: marked changes in fuel balance have dictated wide introduction of low-grade fuels such as low-reactivity and high-ash coals, peat, concentration products, high-sulfur oils, various wastes into power engineering on condition of their joint combustion. Proposed method depending on production of at least single coal-water slurry obtained by mixing up at least one solid fuel component in the form of pulverized fuel with water involves mixing mentioned slurry with at least one liquid fuel component and at least one colloid solution obtained by mixing up minimum one solid fuel component in the form of crushed peat with water; all components are mixed up in any proportion. Proposed method provides for producing liquid fuel of desired calorific value, ash content, sulfur content, firing temperature, etc., and combination of these properties irrespective of varying properties of its components.
