SUBSTANCE: apparatus has fish receptacle with entrance for delivery of fish into receptacle and exit for removal of fish from receptacle, fish positioning and retaining devices, units for killing fish by contacting with part of fish body and killing units drive. One of fish killing units has pointed rod for penetrating into fish brain and other killing unit has cutting blade. During operation of apparatus, it automatically determines fish size, puts it together with killing units in required relative position depending on fish size and cuts great blood vessel for providing fish bleeding.
