Symmetry and marked curvature of axial line bends are to be retained in horizontal and sagittal plane. Movement is considered to be optimum when trunk inclination angle varies in three planes within the limits of ± 3.6 deg. It is considered not to be optimum when axial line bend symmetry is violated and trunk inclination angle varies in three planes beyond the limits of ± 3.6 deg.
